The Rover II was briefed as one of Nixon's most classic inspired watches and was to compete with offerings from brands like Timex and Burberry. I made it a priority to nod to Nixon's action sports heritage by incorporating a rotating high / low tide bezel that referenced classic camera lenses but kept the Rover II relevant to Nixon's surf roots. Unique indices at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock and "paddle" inspired hands add additional interest at a micro level.
