I am a designer in San Francisco, CA, but my creativity comes from the basketball courts of Northeast Ohio where I discovered athletic sneakers and self expression on the court.
I remember observing the best players and taking particular interest in how they presented themselves through clothing, posture, and speech. Without even knowing it, I was training myself to understand subtle nuance in communication.
As an industrial designer, I believe design is most powerful when it is equally appropriate and beautiful. One specific style is never right for every project or brand, so I search endlessly for pointed imagery that clearly communicates opportunities in a space and guides myself and other designers down an actionable path.
I am able to use traditional design skills to respond to those opportunities and create considered products that are brand drivers with the right details at the right time.
