David Whetstone is a designer living in Denver, Colorado working with The North Face. As Design Director of Global Collaborations and Energy across apparel, equipment, and footwear, David leads concept and design with external partners also including color, material, and print / graphics. Each program reflects a true 50/50 split in DNA with partnering brands to unlock the rich narrative of The North Face. Programs include TNF x Gucci, TNF x KAWS, TNF x MM6, TNF x Brain Dead, TNF x Online Ceramics, TNF x Dover Street Market, and TNF x Supreme.
Prior to joining The North Face David worked as an industrial designer and brand strategist. Clients included Shinola Detroit, Google, Nixon, and Nike.
